Lagniappe Studies Unlimited
Lagniappe Studies is a Learning in Retirement program, an organization of mature adults who get together to learn and to have fun. Lagniappe is a Osher Lifelong Learning Institute program sponsored by LSU Continuing Education and an affiliate of the Elderhostel Institute Network. It provides people who are 50 years and older a chance to investigate interesting topics and current issues in a relaxed but stimulating environment. The topics and events organized are developed by and for the members. With sufficient local interest, a St. Francisville chapter could be organized.

LSU partners with TravelLearn to offer exciting overseas educational travel programs through the 25-year-old nationwide TraveLearn Network of over 300 universities, colleges, and affiliated Lifelong Learning Institutes.
