This year’s homes are:
Shannon and Kevin Couhig’s six-thousand-square-foot house on Sage Hill Road is a southern style brick home featuring wraparound porches, a hipped roof, pond and pool, and was designed by William “Bud” Lawrence of Fort Myers, Florida.
Janice McDermott and Mark Chustz’home in The Myrtles subdivision is an expanded, 2,400-square-foot townhouse with entertainment space and a professional office. Janice designed the interior of the classical style house with lots of windows and high ceilings, and decorated it with mix of pastel colors and stone floors.
Shideh and Mike Hammack’s home sits on 3 1/4 acres in Beachamp Estates with a pastoral view featuring a small lake. Shideh, an interior decorator, designed the Acadian style house with its traditional Acadian style front porch, interior brick walls, slate floors and old beams.
Carolyn and Cole Thornton’s country French, two-story home rests on a double lot in The Bluffs Resort and Country Club. The floor plan is open and informal with back galleries overlooking the eighteenth hole of the golf course.
